Cherry Blossoms!

Summer is here and we needed some flowering trees. What is better than cherry blossoms? We settled on 4 weeping cherries in memory of the two weeping cherries we lost earlier. We planted them on the front lawn, along the driveway. But something was missing. I remembered we had some stones from the old landscaping in the backyard. This would be a good time to put them to use. 'Reuse, Recycle, Reduce' - why not!

How it all came together

We started off with marking the circle around the tree and then defined the perimeter with Dimex EasyFlex Plastic No-Dig Landscape Edging Kit. We then added the landscaping stones on the side that was sloping down and leveled inside of the circle with top soil. Added some land covering plants and topped off with black mulch. We finished off the look by adding some river stones.
